As for the 262...i agree seraph, looks nice but i also dont like jets. I hate BnZ tactics to. Doesnt really feel like a dogfight, just a game of chicken.

i can agree with both of you the me 262 is a great plan but in this game its next to useless in a dog fight maybe the only time i would even concider using it would be against a b17 in strike ??

but me and reddisback had a 1v1 dogfight in me 262s that was good fun i even managed to pull off the classic topgun moment hit the brakes pull up and then as red overshot i slipped into his six and blam lol was one of the best and most fun 1v1 dogfights i ever had

First and only time i've ever used it was for this purpose and to be honest... it did the job well. Come in fast, fire rounds of and peel away, then start again. It did this well and took a couple of 17's down in the process. The cannons are powerful and deadly.


Only problem is... if its a strike game (like mine was) their was only one B17 flying on the enemy team, so you single him out every time. For a whole game this i found got slightly boring as trying to dogfight or get anything else was just impossible. You may enjoy it since you like this kite, but for me personally i wasnt so keen, though if their were more B17's and a couple of 262's then i would more than likely enjoy it a whole lot more







Might take a 262 up now on training against a few B17's, see how it fares. I've not tried that yet on BoP.

yep it would get a bit boring for me too im more of a dogfighting person myself i like mixing it up and unless your opponents are flying 262 its a bit pointless

like i said the only time ive used it online was against reddisback and it was a lot of fun sadly i think in this game the 262 is more of a novelty plane

More and more pilots are now unlocking the mighty B17, so in strike games you see it more often with quite a few playing with it. The 262 does come in handy for this i would imagine, let the fighters deal with escorts, and you in the 262 deal with the B17's.

i hope so mate i woul prolly play more strike games if they did id be glued to the 262 lol

Im not gonig to attempt to dogfight against a 262 so i'd either take the 17 or 260 depending on which side im on

Okay, Here's a little thing i made up after Lunch. One of my favorite things about aircraft, and even Bombers, because that were this topic is about, were their Nose Paintings of the Plane. Bombers could be Painted with the Best looking ( and most of the times) sexy looking woman that WE men has ever seen!
