That really is a good tip, I hadn't noticed that either.

I guess I'm missing something or misunderstanding, I don't see "ground" on the enemy settings, situation or altitude.
Are you on 360 or PS3?

I need to correct myself.

Set "Anti Aircraft Artillary" to "Hostile"...

You can then bomb the ground targets, and ships...

I used the wrong terminology.. Sorry about the confusion..

Gotcha, that's just as good. Would be nice to find some aircraft parked near a hangar wouldn't it?

It would, but there might be. I haven't messed around the airfields in training much, other than practicing landings in realistic and sim mode. thats allot of fun for me. I ussally try to challenge myself in training mode, because I am pretty good with capture the airfield on line games, and strike, but really not so good at dog fighting. I fly pretty good in all modes, but just have a hard time targeting. I think my biggest issue is I am one of the "aging" gamers, and tend not to see very well. I have my box on a 37" HDTV, on 1080p mode, but sit about 12 feet from it, and my eyesight isn't as good as it used to be, but not gonna trade my old lazy ass recliner for a closer view, lol... If I wanted to make that trade, I would probably be better at dog fighting..

But, I try to challenge myself in training mode. I typially have it set to at least realistic and sometimes sim. At least 6 enemy aircraft, often more than that though, on veteran level so I have to work hard to get them, or avoid them. I like to fight them, while bombing ships, that to me is allot of fun..

I really enjoy the training fields in this game.. I wish they had some training maps in on line so you can connect with friends and set them as friend or foe and good around with live people instead of just the AI though. That would be loads of fun for me then..

I found it, and I enjoyed it. The 1000 pounders do a little "too" much damage to make them last, but it will be very good rocket and small bomb practice.

You definitely need to get on with us in the game nights we've been having. Most of us are the older crowd looking to have fun with the game. We try to balance out the teams as best we can, not overly competitive.

Played around with the B-17 on Canterbury. Set up 6 BF-109's on veteran and the B-17 handled them just fine. Edited to get the landing/take off right.
I know most will LOVE the music, but here it goes. LOL

Damn you and your music! I've only listened to it for 2 mins (you caught me, I didn't finish the movie) and it keeps replaying in my head!
