for your info. I was talking praise to the mods people not trying to insult them or commenting on their work. And I was talking about the lack of info from Oleg about SOW BOB not the patch. I have the highest regard for the modders and never understood why Oleg was so against the modding people in the first place.( other than online cheating possibilities). Mods made Oblivion and fallout3 the succes that they are still today. Most people do not play IL2 online so no problems with mods there. The modding community either banned by Oleg or allowed with the new patch-team has made IL2 a much better game and deserve more praise by Oleg then they have had till now. And yes my little calling for revolution against Oleg was a joke not to be taking too seriously.  like duh.

ok, reggiani, if you say you were joking, I'll accept that.
I still fail to see the praise, and I doubt anyone else will see the funny part of it either, as it stands. Maybe the humour went right over the top of my shallow head...

Reggiane does raise a good point though in that we hear nothing at all from Oleg's team, if there is one. We know that Ilya (Oleg's right hand man) has moved to America which is strange if we believe what Oleg has told us that SOW will be released within a year. To lose such a key man at such a crucial time must hurt somewhat. Apart from Ilya and a mention from Oleg of some nameless modders, who else is actually working on the project fulltime?

tree that is exactly the point I was trying to make.
(almost)All of the BOB SOW info we got sofar was from Oleg himself not from anyone else. I have no idea how big the company is but as there has been no leakage at all from Olegs team for so many years one could be lead to believe that either BOB SOW is a one man effort  OR Oleg keeps his crew under a very serious embargo NOT to let ANY details of the game slip. As English is my 5th language I was unable to communicate this properly to poor old bigbossmalone my apologies if I did not get the message across well enough.

no worries reggiani - like I said, when I read it initially it just looked like you were letting rip in a big way, but after a few more reads, its probably not that bad...
Some (most) of your points are pretty valid, but I just felt the attacking Oleg part was a bit heavy-handed. All good, though, please carry on and never mind me...I'm still trying to work off last nights hangover, as well, which probably doesn't help....

It has become apparent to me that Oleg is a Con artist. People like Tree and Furbs and Reg see this stone cold reality, because they are not blinkered by the EPIC FOG OF BROWN NOSERY.
 Perhaps Oleg is not a Con artist, and perhaps he will come on here and defend himself. Then again, perhaps wombles will fly, back to their homeland of Timbuktoo. Revolution is in the air.
