Is making sure you stay out of blackouts, and still killing your opponent, not pilot skills? I think blackouts will increase the need of pilot skills, because there is one more factor to consider when planing your moves.
Endless turning battles dont require skill, just a good turning airplane

I totally agree. Combined with the new kill-protocol this will be awesome . It's gonna be nice to see everyone black out, not be able to steer anymore and crash, just like we used to do in 1946 .
