Get in a strike match with a B-17G and see which team everyone switches to in the lobby. From a B-17 fan, I couldn't be happier with it. Sure its vulnerable, but Ive found all the turrets balance that out.

One question for you: If they hate American planes, why would they even include them in the game?

It has been mention here that according to history the JU87 B-2 were easy to shoot down yet in the game they are a lot tougher. So you theory does not hold water.
