Its the I-153 and you unlock it by completing the single mission chapter of "Battle of Stalingrad." I unlocked it yesterday and did one training mission with it and was going to try a landing and when i thottled down to "0" the engine cut out and the prop stopped spinning and i glided in for a landing, but was unable to start the engine so i had to quit out. I wonder if it is even possible to somehow re-fire engine !!!

Nope. Thats the risk you run with flying the aircraft.

lol yep I kept doing that when I first flew it. Now ive learnt never to push the stick forward to decend, always roll over and pull back.

I wonder why the I-153 doesn't have a in-game cockpit. Thought that only applied to Bombers and german aircraft. Is it the same with the Po-2?

It is the same with the Po-2, and so is it with all other aircraft axis or allied that you will unlock in the game, if they are not part of a same type of airplane (yak 1, 3, 9 etc).

I'm not complaining, but the truth is, out of the box, there were cockpits ONLY for aircraft used in the campaign mode. The lack of cockpit didn't apply to german planes only.
