hello , yesterday when the patch came, i was whit 2 guys in the ATAG triying to start the hurri, the trick is, Put it to the 25% trhottle and when is firing the pistons, back to 20% or 15% and then starts, its very Hard, i think its a bug, they need to put it well if they launch a hotfix

Default Runninng at last

Just got it running on ATAG server.

The key seems to be getting the oil temperature up to about 26C. Then 19% throttle got it started.

Clearly, the oil temperature effects are overdone and need urgent fixing.

Thanks to [UK BW]Basha, 46_Gromic and others.

i got it running

it seem it will not start cold. set mixture rich, full course prop and approx 15% throttle. if you keep turning the engine over it will warm up (takes about 15 mins) to about 25-30C oil temp. then it will run for short bursts warming it further. when its warmed you can throttle up and take off. bugged but if you really want to fly it online you can do this. i cba so back to spit IIa

Thats the trick alright, be patient and keep banging away at it and eventually it will splutter into life...15 mins is about right.

I start in multy 2 times, one in Rotol and one in 100octane. You need like it is explain upper. But keep your raditor closed until it satrt and let hjim 10-25 sec before to open just a bit the radiator. And try to play with your throttle to keep it in rotation. The reason why is if your radiator is closed at the begining, you will suck air that is not too cold. Because your mixture is rich at the startup procedure he will cool the ignition more because not all the fuel is burn. So if you keep it closed and after just a bit open to not let the motor choke, you will keep warmer air in the beginning of the start-up and warming procedure.

Yes can get it started with above procedure (offline), however the AI pilots dont seem to know how to do this and just sit on the runway. Some of them report their engines are dead and they are returning to base (even though they havnt moved at all).
