I have no clue how to finish this mission...

I actually destroyed all of those turrets, they don`t fire at you if u are inside of that ring, when you move outside they split u to pieces. Then those enemies appear when u go to portal, but if u kill them then u are safe to proceed. U should acept the mission to give escort to that trader, it`s easier to get through the next system.

I had trouble with this mission as well. I didn't lure anyone to me, I fought through turrets. you have to destroy them, I just used the ship, kept my fighter docked up. it takes a little while to destroy them, but they never fired on me. Bout a half hour on 4x speed to destroy them all.
