I've heard a .303 1917 BSA SMLE fired by a numb skull who shot when the line was supposed to be cold and most of us had our ear protection off.
It was about 10 years ago. My left ear still rings a bit. Firearms are loud!!! a lot louder than on TV or in a Hollywood movie. Our computer speakers would be destroyed trying to duplicate accurate firearms sound pressure levels.

imo the sounds are much improved over previous titles, german 109 sounds spot on , they need to tweak the merlin sounds and heavy bombers more.
as for the guns i agree they need more dynamics ..little louder maybe even add a audio slider in options. Last edited by diveplane; 11-12-2011 at 05:29 PM.
