NO, it is NOT a workaround as it DON'T work. With F9 I just pause TrackIR so that I can no longer use TrackIR. Then you all are doing wrong! I tried some minutes ago and it works.

You don't have to pause TIR, you only need to recenter it while your head is a little on the left.
