welcome MATTXYO, what system are you using? there are a lot of players over there in both. look through this thread to find them and add them, if you just look for games it is much more difficult without "friends".

oh....if you like the chipmunk and still wish to fly cheaply. check this out for starters.

Rans are nice. i dont know what the ultralight or experimental regs are over there but it might be worth checking out.

Rookie pilot checking in.

I play on Xbox 360, gamertag BradC34, in mountain time zone (GMT -7). I play pretty randomly as Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and NCAA 12 have been consuming my gaming time lately and Battlefield 3 is not too far off. I might play during the day, but rarely am I ever locked in before midnight. I've had the game for a couple months and am almost finished with all the single player missions using arcade. I'd like to get to the point where I can be good with realistic, but I'd like to wrap the game up first.

I'm a fan of pretty much all of the American craft + the Spitfire. Always loved the P-51, P-38, and F4U growing up -- hoping the latter two make an appearance in Birds of Steel (yes... I know it's not an IL-2/1C branded game, but I expect it to be very similar since it's still Gaijin).

Cut my teeth as a youngster on MS Flight Sim 2000 and Warbirds. Only recently returned to the flight sim scene thanks in large part to Birds of Prey, the best console flight sim I've played yet. Gave up on PC gaming a few years ago.

Really just looking for some opponents and/or wingmates for online. Would really like to unlock the B-17. If you add me as a friend, please say in the request that you're from here. I tend to ignore random friend requests.

ETA: While I'm here, can anyone suggest a decent flight stick for the 360? I owned Hawx 2 briefly and considered finding one, but all the reviews out there said every flight stick on the market was hit or miss (mostly miss). I'm content with the controller, though the left stick is starting to go out in my one good one. Might just need to get a new controller anyway.

I play on xbox 360, anybody who would like to add me please do followed with a message that you are from this forum as I rarely accept random requests. Thanks for the previous link also bobbysocks much appreciated, although with work and a young family I rarely have the time or money for major hobbies, never mind though eh..
