I haven't flown that much, but yes, playing in MP with some friends I had to keep the radiators nearly full open all the time, wheres I also have the impression that flying in SP (which is most of the time ATM) I can leave them nearly closed...
And yes, I still haven't managed to damage my engine in SP, whereas it happened to me in MP.

yeah the first few times i played multiplayer i was really surprised, recognizing that my engine was suddenly dead and leaking oil, while having both radiators in the same position as i do in singleplayer.
if it is fact, that there is a difference, i really wonder why.
because its neither good for offliners, who want to have an immersive experience, but beeing left with a "simplified" engine management, nor for onliners who want to train their skills offline, and than beeing faced with a total different situation of handling the aircraft.

i have 200 hours which is a mix of online and offline and i didnt see any difference at least for the EMIL
I don't know about Spitfire though

Forgot to mention but I base my comment on the Spitfire and Hurricane, haven't flown the 109 online yet...

I haven't flown the spit or hurri that mutch but I fly the 109 offline and online with the same radiator settings.

Will have to jump and a spit and check this out

well my experience is with the emil only,which at least for me, seems to overheat much quicker with the same radiator settings online than offline.
