basicly i stoped playing when i bought a set up that could run RoF at max settings, when i flew RoF first time at max then switch back to 1946 to fly with my squad realize how dated 1946 is and when i pre order and then download CloD never even with all the problems and frustration the first months of CloD were, never play 1946 again and then reinstalled windows and not even think on install 1946 again

What you said in your post is true. Its the natural progression of all things. In with the new and people will adopt. You cant prevent it.

lol! Thought Mazex (post 2) nailed it!
The old girl has all the bells and whistles and if it wasn't for the promise of youth (even with all its pimples!) we would be still singing her praises. But after sampling the new it is hard to go back. Sure, the youth requires you to have youthful hardware, old guys need not apply - they just can't cut it. So for the old guys stick to 46. Plenty of 46 admirers still out there and it will probably always have some sort of life in our squad events. Let's hope the next patch will do the business and sort out the blemishes. |

almost exclusively 1946 for me, variety of planes and smooth reliable performance online are the clinchers.

The issue is that the younger girl looks really, REALLY good from a distance. Then you get up close and see that she has a club foot, a glass eye, summerteeth (some 'er here and some 'er there), is missing a few fingers from a tragic mill accident and is 6 months pregnant. makes the older model look much better. |

When you come close you see a bad case of acne, really weird glasses, piercings, ugly clothes and a colorful punk hairstyle. But then, that is all temporary and mended soon, and in a few months her even better looking sister is coming to live together with her... and you, if you are man enough and stop yammering ![]() ![]() ![]()

S!
Still play Il-2 1946 because of SEOWs and the War-Birds_FH server. CloD needs a bit of work until we can fully migrate. But I play it to test all the nice things in it.
