Sweet, was kind of hoping for medieval 3 but it will come

I hope they bring fleets and armies together I want to storm a beach or assault an army that is landing

hey this is mind blowing; judging by the 2 screenshots and the summary description on http://www.videogamer.com/pc/rome_ii..._detailed.html it seems it's the eventual quantum leap that will put the series on a cinema scope level, both visually and in the options available.

2013 suddenly became a whole lot more interesting...

Ahh brilliant! I've played and loved all the total wars aside from the Shoguns. I was disapointed when I saw Shogun 2 since the gameplay and graphics looked great, but the location and time period really don't interest me. I was hoping for a new Rome, so this is perfect, and even better I guess that means we might have Medieval III to look forward to afterwards as well.

Can't wait for this though!
