I guess it depends when we each completed the quest, patches wise. I completed it after build 6249, and the result was that I was trapped, with the same "now you must find a way out" message as the 1st time, except that the cup mechanism was gone and the door closed behind me. I suppose you completed it earlier than build 6249 in your game?
