DCS-A10C runs perfectly on my oldish system (see my sig). When I purchased it as a pre-retail beta it was far, far worse than CoD's first pre-patch offering. Beta A-10 would crash repeatedly on me when I was in setup options trying to assign keys to my HOTAS. When I flew A-10 it would be fine for about 5 minutes, then abruptly it would ignore my control inputs and ultimately careen out-of-control into the ground. I duly reported these glitches at the SimHQ forum and subsequent patches/updates cured it all by the time it went full retail.

Certainly A-10 is a generation (or two or three) ahead of CoD in a number of areas - instrumentation, weapons systems, Comms, etc. etc. etc. (long list). What I'd be curious to know is the relative complexities of the damage modelling. At first blush the A-10 aircraft has far more electronic systems to be disrupted, obviously. But is the incursion of individual bullets & shrapnel bits modelled in A-10 as intricately as CoD or is it done more as a series of close-grouped damage bubbles within the A-10 aircraft fuselage & wing structures?
