Yesterday, I managed to catch up to a pack of 109s who had shot down 3 Hurris over Hawkinge, me in the Spitfire Ia. There were 6 of them making a bee line back to France, with one trailing behind about 500m behind the main group. I took some shots at the tail-end charlie, and was surprised that not only did he go evasive, but the rest of the 109s reacted, jinking and turning back as if to see what was going on. I checked in FMB and they were on a waypoint with action = escort, so maybe that effects the AI behavior; otherwise it may have changed with the latest beta patch.
