no but if you respect the rights of others it shouldnt matter....obviously if i run a private website i would run it the way i want...but since i value the rights of others, i would probably choose to institute free speech policy...

unlike you i dont call for sanctions on others just cuz i dont approve of what they say...you are nothing but garbage...

he is technically right...but its quite telling when a so called "freedom loving" individual starts trying to stifle the speech or rights of others....clearly this guy is a typical american who only cares about his own rights, and not the rights of the individual...

its really easy to judge others and to assume you know what is best for them, using that to justify imposing your will upon others....

thats all he is doing...he didnt like what i said and now he wants some "authority" to impose sanctions upon me..

also regarding your previous post...the reason why govt prohibitions certain things or behaviors is not to keep us safe...its simply to shape behavior of the people as if they were a dog getting trained....thats what those in govt (at the highest levels) see us as...animals (maybe sheep?) that need to be taken care of and regulated.....

the laws that pertaining to reckless driving is all the legal ammunition you need for intoxicated drivers....but they add laws specifically for drunk driving as an excuse to set up check points and other types of quasi legal (constitutional) activity (like no refusal weeks, where people are forced to submit to blood draws...

Well I know that. Maybe I misunderstood you. I often am guilty of this.

Let me ask it this way. Did you intend to say that in general the world wide web shouldn't promote freedom of speech as a whole?

his statement seemed to convey that he dosent care about anyone's rights, especially when they might annoy him or if he disagrees..

also...not just americans have rights...remember the first legal document of this country said something like "all men are created equal (meaning equal under the law) and are endowed by their creator with rights" something like that...key words their are ALL MEN which means all people...something he wants to disregard...

Let's see. He does not like what you said and tries to get rid of you by calling "authorities" to ensure the "win" of his opinion that way. You, don't like his opinion either, so you call him "garbage", 'hitler", "hitler youth", and that way you are trying to indirectly get rid of him by damaging his image in forum. It seems your aims are pretty similar, and only means differ.

You need to define what exactly do you mean by saying "freedom of speech". It became very abused term lately, usually twisted and overextended for personal agendas. I.e. some people think that hate speech is or should be covered by freedom of speech.
