Of course, if you play smart everything that you say on the webs stays on the webs, bit like Vegas

Some people have this huge urge to vent on the internet which they do not want/dare say when it can be related to his personality in real life.

With your super brain power and your psychic ability you should be able to see the absolutely HUGE smile on my face when I insult you.

I wonder why you haven't mentioned it before?

Incorrect.

He has often called people that don't believe his drivel many derogatory names.

Not true. Although they do want you to stop posting they will still hate you even if you do so don't think they will not, "hate on", if you stop.

Take all of my, "stop posting" comments in the context of a, "why do you continue to post if you don't really want an answer", sentiment. I want you to keep posting so we can keep laughing.

Freedom of speech does not...

A: apply in ANY way to a privately owned forum on the 'net
B: mean freedom from consequence.

To be honest, I don't care who posts here. It's not up to me to say who's allowed to and who's not (thank whatever gods you believe in for that!). I will, however, have a great deal of a care when people sprout drivel and nonsense in response to someone actually pointing out something that's A: logical, and B: Correct.

The problem with forum discussions is that there is always room for an exponential escalation of misunderstanding and subsequent taking of offence. Thus, a face-to-face conversation may contain the following:

"I'm sorry, but I think you're talking bollocks.."

"What!?"

"Well, OK, not bollocks, but..."

...and the conversation returns to civilized levels. In an internet forum, that first "bollocks" will just be allowed to dangle there (sorry for imagery) and indeed may fester (sorry again) allowing the responder time to get worked up about it. His or her reaction is then often a calculated insult and so the whole thing spirals.

We are also generally more likely to engage in confrontational behaviour when there are physical barriers between us (hence road rage). This, of course, is entirely the case with forum/online game arguments. I think that that phenomenon, coupled with the low-bandwidth (in emotional terms) aspect of written communication causes the flashpoints we see online.

Not hate, but pity possibly. A very low opinion of you, definitely. But that's all down to you and it will be all down to you until you're banned or a mod tells you to be careful and you actually listen. You seem proud that you've been banned elsewhere but I can't figure out why.

Now others can say "ignore Raaaid" or "don't post" etc. If someone wants to post rubbish I can post anti-rubbish (if you see what I mean). If anyone doesn't like that they can practise what they preach.

And in the real world I can almost never say what I really think. That or I have to moderate everything completely and dispassionately. I like it when people say what they think - saves misunderstandings.
