Just thought of the F2H Banshee.

I'm not sure what a Banshee is exactly, but it sure sounds cool.

I'm pretty sure it's a mythical creature of some sort. The google bars right in front of me but....I honestly can't be arsed.

Wow, I'm surprised no one has said F-86 SABRE!!!! Awesome name. And it's an awesome sound jet of the early years.

Ah yeah! I totally forgot about the Sabre. There was a great episode of dogfights on about it last night. I believe the episode name was "Supersonic", probably one of the better dogfights I've seen actually.

Not only was it a great figher....but I believe its the most beautiful aircraft ever made.
