1:47 Spotter5: Does the game reuire a HDD install, and does it have trophies?
1:48 danneale: a definitive graphic layout of the Aviator would be helpful, in both arcade/realistic as well as sim. especially sim LOL --- we will look inot that
1:49 danneale: elneilios84: - Yes they can be

This is controversial isn't it?
Yeah, found that quite interesting. I always take the latest peace of info that I get from a publisher as up to date and reliable info until proven otherwise. If I found out that someone lied to me I will not bother asking in the future.

We will see when the game comes out. I'll buy it anyway and will post here about my experience especially regarding those sensitive topics like controls and cockpit views.

We should realy wait for a comment from Anton. And that he does not answer worries me enough to cancel my preorder until I get feedback.

Grüße nach Österreich!

Actually re-reading my question, I don't think I was clear enough... I asked if the analog stick functions can be flipped. This could easily be misconstrued to mean "can the X/Y axis be inverted" and we all know that they can even in the demo. I'm betting this is why he answered yes.

Well, honestly it's a non-issue for me. The AV8R standard button layout works (not all buttons are perfectly located but I got used even to the trim button).

The question and answer about cockpit view was very clear, so if I don't see German cockpits in the finished version I will ignore any further game coming from Gaijin/1C/505. Spending 60 Euros on that game will not leave me broke, so I'll simply take the risk and trust them for once.

That's my understanding. I think he answered that twice, saying inverting the axis.

We did see I think 2 other missions. The one with the IL-2 looked like a ton of fun. Rear gunning and all.

Same here, I'm not that bothered about the control layout - I asked on behalf of the many that it does bother. Full German cockpits is a much bigger issue for me so I'm quite pleased with the answer.

Right, I continued watching and I saw the other 2. I wonder how much more maps/environments are there in game?

'Strike' sounds like a great MP mode but does anyone know if MP servers are skill restricted i.e. only sim players, only realistic players etc.

I know it sounds like a no-brainer but in my experience gaming on console MP leaves a lot to be desired.
