I'm actually playing with Paradox's Crusader Kings II... I'm addicted to it...

A whole generation of pilots learned to treasure the Spitfire for its delightful response to aerobatic manoeuvres and its handiness as a dogfighter. Iit is odd that they had continued to esteem these qualities over those of other fighters in spite of the fact that they were of only secondary importance tactically. Thus it is doubly ironic that the Spitfire’s reputation would habitually be established by reference to archaic, non-tactical criteria.

i never was much of a gamer neither on consoles nor on pc.i only came to flight sims, because of birds of prey on the xbox, and my fascination for planes since i was a kid.then because of birds of prey, i became aware of the dev updates of CLOD and the existence of 1946.so i saw this one video of "Storm of War" where you see the spitfire over the channel doing some loops, with the sunlit clouds in the background, the beautiful shadows in the pit, and the breaking waves on the channel a couple of thousands feet below the spit.the channel reflecting the sun perfectly, and all the nice shadows of clouds on it as well....i was like WAOH!i gonna have to buy this once this is out!this will be major!
so i decided to buy 1946 to prepare myself for the upcoming ultimate immersion of beeing a fighterpilot.went to the store, and bought it for 4,5Euros.best investement so far in my life i think. so for me, the best game so far is 1946.i wish CLOD will once substitute it though.
