Brave shot pupo162, at least you expressed your views in a calm manner, but don't expect any sympathy from this bearpit. While I don't agree with you (we just have to wait) I can understand your frustration.

Take a break, come back after the next patch.

2. The developers have either not communicated at all or grossly misrepresented the progress of the promised fixes and game enhancements. All credibility is gone and it’s their fault, not ours.

3. We who love combat flight sims waited for years for CloD to be released and hoped it was going to be the Holy Grail of the genre. Instead we got a half finished, buggy mess with no solution or logical path for its completion. And instead of dedicating EVERY available resource to getting it fixed and delivery the game we were promised and paid for, we're getting updates on the sequel that I for one will never buy.
I have to say that no-one can complain about this post, it's true on all counts.

Regarding 'development', it appears to be like the eternal tomorrow, it never comes.

Number 3 is full of speculation, therefore it can't be "true".

yes, development takes time.. as well as earning money takes work..

so, as a sign of respect, can a developer not ask for money before finishing the development of a product? or, a least, can it be open and sincere about it, and say "we have to sell you this work in progress product, otherwise we're out of business. please help us and pay for beta, or pre-order the sequel."? and then, as a quid pro quo for the help received from customers, be open about the development process required to push that helped product towards a finished product (as it was already pre-paid)?

some people around does not seem to grasp the fact that this is NOT about money, NOT about a little hobby, NOT about time, but about RESPECT.

you do not xxxx from where you eat! that's how the saying goes.. right?!!

So coming here crying like a 10 year old is helping things? They are working on the major issues with the game. What more do you people want? Do you need your hand held every second for you to know this? Grow up.

Its unfortunate people haven't gotten over the fact the sim was released unfinished, and that its going to take time with a few setbacks to finish it. Yes people paid full price for an unfinished game. Yes the developer should have told us just how unfinished it was, but some people just aren't intelligent enough to see the big picture. Maybe thats a bit harsh, but some posts certainly make you wonder. Maybe they are intelligent, but are just too young, with not enough life experience, in the land of instant gratification. Very complex sims like this are going to take time and require patience that some in the newer generations are just not wired for. If it weren't for the early release there wouldn't have been a release. It may yet be canceled, or it may turn out to be the next benchmark, time and patience will tell.

I thought it was easy to think up, but I guess there is dire need for people like you to point things out for others.

If the sim won`t get patched up to spec, it is going to die no matter what fanboys do. So far though it is much further from dying than some unfortunately would like it to be.
