Likely wrong, you mean as in the samples already used. Oh yeah right. Shouldn't be a problem then.

If you don't like the threads in this forum then go find a new one. You sound like my damn girlfriend. Jesus christ.

I merely pointed out that I paid a bucketload of money on this sim - not the cheapest one - and I got these incredibly crappy sounds. Does that really make me spoiled and childish? pff...

I don't understand you guys...

a: you're deaf
b: you think that getting real sounds would be worse (see a)
c: you think that negative criticism will make the devs commit sepuku
d: you are paid by 1c to humiliate everyone who points out something that needs to be fixed

I am hopeful that in due time they will come. There are bigger fish to fry at the moment. But if sounds is all you have to complain about then everything else must meet your expectation at this point. Hang on I am sure it will come.

Personally, I think the future of sounds in CloD will be the SDK and people like Jafa or Tiger33 (who was behind the great vid in this thread). MG had 10 years of supporting the original IL-2 and they never showed much interest in upgrading the lousy sounds in that game in all that time. I simply feel that sounds haven't ever been a priority at MG. I also feel that the unwillingness of MG to deal with this issue in the original game was one of the factors that led to the creation of the modding community for that game to the extent that it is today. I definitely agree that some official word on the future of sounds in CloD (either SDK sound mod accessibility or some official update with new sounds) would help reduce the number of threads about this topic.

Cheers,

Those recorded sounds aren't perfect, they lack dynamics sounds from behind/front/blade edge the same.
Instead of asking for the "perfect" (since decades the ms flight simulator way of doing it) i would ask for more procedural sound development.
But in first place, i think that people talking about shame/lame/crappy, have shame/lame/crappy education.

You can't make everyone happy with any one sound fix. That's why I think the user should be able to pick which sound mod/stock setup best reflects their auditory wishes in game. SDK is the future...

Speak for yourself, I've seen spits/109s in person and the game doesn't even remotely sound the same.

The best sound i heard in racing sims came from real recordings, but still isn't perfect, recorded sounds gaves you some amazing immersion but gets totally downed on certain situations, still everyone should be pleased in the future when options via mods will came.

Yes, I'm angry at his, as of now.
Jog on Mr 119 posts since you bought this game in april, Refelcted is a well respected member of the flight sim community and has been around the FS scene for quite some time, further more I for one value his opinion even if might be negative of sorts.
So i think you should back down and stop thinking that you have the right to be rude to people because you disagree with them.
