The JU-87

Hi there,

Considering the high number of aviation buffs in this forum I think it's the best place to get some clarification about the Ju-87.

I got a question about the 'Jericho Trumpets'. Is it true that the first version did not have an extra siren installed and that another part of the aircraft produced a siren like sound? If yes, which part was that? The airbrakes?

You are right, the siren was limted to the B series had a small proppler that made the sound while diving but later on (at about B3 / B4 series) the germans found that the enemy had gotten used to it so they removed it. And made a smaller one that where on the bombs it self.

Does the JU-87 have the siren sound in the game? I really wish there was more use for this plane in the game, as it has always been one of my favorites....

I think I'll try it in strike mode. Wish it had a cockpit.
