Sorry to burst your bubble but, I believe the GOTY edition is not supported on steam. A couple of steam users had a post and came to the conclusion that the store allows only the regular version of MOW:AS.

...figures lol I learned a long time ago with the first version of men of war NOT to buy any direct download versions as they or rather my version had out of sync issues with store versions on and off. I had the crap-a-boli version,,,huge mistake. Since then I don't purchase download versions of any game especially 1c ones.

All of steam version has updated to 2.05.14 where is patch for non steam, why this happen again. This mess us up a lot. Why don't 1C release the patch at the same time.

I have the MOWAS GOTY edition, and, if I download-use this patch, it will disable my game?

The game no longer works for me with the new patch, you dumb asses!

Time to rant about you to all who want to buy this game. I spent $40 for this!

1C should refund to all non steam version players to change to steam version. We don't like to wait anymore.

You can register your game with steam using gamespy cd key in most cases, steam is better platform for releasing updates fast and testing balance etc.

but some of us cant because weve got the trilogy edition not the standalone retails which you cant register through steam... =( also i missed the 75% oFF daily deal...
