really nice, but did we really need the IL-4?
With all the mods that are out there at the moment, I'm surprised Daidalos hasn't looked into revamping the fx of the game (smoke, tracers, explosions), inserting bullet ricochet and giving it a bit of tidying up to the textures..

Agreed. It could definitely use a bit of tender loving care on the visual side of things. Now that the CEM and AI have been revamped, a bit of attention to some new FX would be quite a treat.

Maybe not, but it seems insensitive to condemn a contribution from someone who passed away.

Wow, had no idea, sorry to hear that, who was the guy?

Anyway I wasn't referring to the IL-4 per se, it's just the idea of implementing new flyables when the game actually needs a visual revamp, that's it.

Personally, as bomber/mud mover, any correctly modelled aircraft are more than welcomed over some of the franken pits in some of the mods.
