Default Spit Tracers Guide

Is there a step by step guide for setting tracers for multilayer? I keep trying, but must be doing something wrong. Please Help!

Don't think custom tracer loads work but if they do:

Goto Options

In options is something like airplane or player, it's towards the top

In that menu is something like loadout, colors, custom, something like that. Click that.

In there you can change load outs, including ammo loads for each weapon on your plane. That's if it works. Haven't played for a bit so I'm not sure if this has been addressed yet. Anyway GL and have fun.

I thought you had to edit the setup in FMB and save it and then it would be in multiplayer?

Dunno about that one. I've heard of people doing something like that, not entirely sure how it works though. Something about opening up a file and playing with the tracer loads in it? I'm probably creating more confusion than help at this point though.

Join the server, click Plane, Loadout, Guns. Then you can load the ammo you want into each gun and set convergence. Remember to save it and it should be in the preset list next time.

Got it in the plane menu by saving over my custom profile.

With the latest beta patch you can set up and save loadouts in "Options" and use them in multiplayer. However, they don't work in QMB/ Campaign/ Single mission mode

But are the tracers working?
To me it seems rather random.
One time I had tracers on the left side only. Trying to change every gun to tracers still gave me left-side-tracers only.

Something fishy here...(?)

I normally put tracers (white incendary) in gun one and gun eight.
The problem I have is why each individual gun has to have only one type of ammo which was not the case historically.
I have not been able to setup a standard "Main belt" which should be an option.
One AP, one dewit, two ball and one incendary tracer would be my standard belt for all guns.
