Is he one of the 7 out of 27,407 people on the entire 1C forum that ought statistically to have photosensitive epilepsy?

This thread is symptomatic of modern life...always looking for someone to blame.
Ok, I'll bite...I blame all of us, that's right everyone of you (including myself) who's reading this...it's entirely our fault. We're the one's who put pressure on ubi, Oleg etc. It's time to Man up people and face our responsibilities. Who's with me (although I have a feeling I'll be standing alone)? Ok then, it's my fault. |

You blame no one. It was a freak accident. They should make a switcher option for the western release.

Problem is - even without a switcher it runs terrible. Or so people say. This issue really needs to be sorted out in the next month or two. With such a piss poor marketing campaign I doubt that these bad initial reports do any good to sales.

I was going to say. Its true, the epi filter off doesn't do much rather the game is terribly optimised. Its nothing to do with the graphics being amazing because as we know, it hardly uses 1 core (apperently) and it cannot multi GPU. This proves there is something badly wrong with the code. A complex fix would add 30 frames imo back on Mid range PC's on med/max settings.

Did the Russians at the release parties know they were walking into a beta though?
I don't remember seeing any official talk of problems before the the game was released, that only happened when Russians took the game home and tried to install and run it. It must be close to a public relations disaster there. I shall judge on Thursday, when it is released here in the UK.Hopefully there will already be a patch by then.By the time Americans get it the game might be running pretty well. |

Heres an idea... stop running around like Chicken Little panicking and looking to "blame" someone. ![]() Wait until you actually have the GAME, put it on your system and see how it goes and then CHILLAX! |

And when they patch the stuttering problems and initial bugs those neurotics that cancel a $50 game they claim to have waited for the last 6 years will for sure buy the game. They really must be on tight budgets the poor sods? Or do they really think that their whining in all the flight sim forums that they are going to cancel their pre orders will have a positive impact on the series that we are all going to depend on the next 5-10 years? Naturally both the developers and the publishers understand that they will never succeed with the release if the game stutters badly on rather powerful rigs - so what good are all these threats?
