Default Why will my guns on the bomber not fire online sometimes?

Damn this game is giving me fits online. I dont notice any lag but when im in the bomber as the gunner the guns will not fire half the time until the enemy is right on my ass. Whats up with that??????

Are you sure their are uns that face that position, all bombers dont have guns facing in every posible direction, if the might B17 has spots it cant aim at.

You can look almost anywhere in the bomber turret but the guns can only fire at certain angles. Usually only a narrow cone behind the bomber. The reticule changes when firing is enabled.

Being in the wrong place to fire is not my issue. The aircraft can be coming right up behinfd me and it still will not fire until i am engaged with fire from my attacker. It seems i have to be fired upon before i can fire. ???

Sounds like you're trying to shoot your own tail off. The guns won't let you do that.

which bomber are you talking about? I know some aircraft like the me 262 are very hard to hit from bombers but as previously stated most bombers have spots that are not protected by guns, were you firing the guns manually or letting the computer do it?
