I agree with the OP - the strike scores should more accurately reflect damage done instead of targets destroyed. It's not an ego thing, it's about more accurate leaderboards and knowing who the genuinely good players are.
And as for that a-hole, join his games and keep TK'ing him. Me, Nephilim, Silvernige and Hrok were all trying to get some quality 4v4 CTA games in with us all on the same side. But some idiot keeps trying to join whatever team we set, making it 5v3. So we tried every trick in the book, switching to the same team at the last second etc. After a few games of being fooled by that, the idiot soon caught on. So there we are in a 5v3 and we all decided that the best course of action was military justice. That was one of the best CTA games I've ever had lol. Plus, it's really good training for simulation, tracking a target without a marker arrow

That I do not like.. I dont mind flying with anyone at all, but when may regular flying buddies are on, we do form a "Team" because we fly well together, interact, and each player has their roll and contribution to the team effort, so we like to fly as a team. When we all get together, we do have a rep for not loosing much, so other players try to jump to our team at the last second to end up in a warped battle of say 8 on 2 etc. If I host a game, and that ends up like that, I will dump the game and start over. I hate that, I like as fair of a fight as I can get. Actually, I even like warped games that put me at a disadvantage, because I like the challenge. I prime example of that, and yeah, I am gonna brag because I am proud of myself in a game last night. It was a warped game anyway, with 3 on 2. I was on the 2 player side. No problem, but it was a 2 field game, and that really is tough with such low player count anyway. You have to spread out really thin. Well, my team mate apparently felt overwhelmed and bails on the game early, and left me by myself to cover two air fields for over 10 minutes. Of course, I got my arse whooped, but I stayed with the game to the end, and fought my butt off to the end. I lost, but my personal score was almost double of their highest scorer. I did get landed and took the field several times, and a handful of kills. I just zoomed from field to field flying just feet from the ground at below tree top level, and they couldn't see me very well.. I would scream in, take a landing, and by the time they figured out where I was, they either at least lost the field, if not me taking it completley. I would do the same thing sneaking up on them and doo dooing on them with my little turd bombs.. It was really fun, even though I lost... But, left that game as though I won anyway.. hahhah...

I had some more great games tonight with Tudorp15 and his crew. But damn I was disapointed I got booted off xbox live just as we were about to take off for some formation flying. Had my Mustang mkIA all lined up perfectly on the runway with Turdorp15's P-51D when BOOM disconected from xbox live. Sounded like a lot of fun from what I heard in the party chat. That Gooch is a nutbar huh lol.
Anyway send me a pm or xbox message and give me that guy's name and I'll make sure I avoid joining the games he hosts. Oh and about strike mode. Has anybody else noticed that sometimes the targets get mixed up somehow, so that you can be bombing your enemy's targets and at the same time taking tickets off your own side because the game thinks they are friendy. You can see this by the target counts they don't add up. One game a few weeks back I had in sim mode with House, We had destroyed ALL our targets and were still LOSING in tickets???!! As it was unlimited time, We had to wait while the enemy bombed their targets which the game thought were ours, taking their own tickets away and finaly giving us the win. It was crazy.

I haven't noticed that issue. But, that is not a good one either... maybe worse than my complaint..
Yeah, Gooch is a little "loud", hahhah... He is a 17 year old kid, and a pretty cool kid, but again, a freaking kid, and can be annoying sometimes, hahhah... But, he means well, but runs his mouth way too damn much and irritates people sometimes.. I tease him allot too though to keep him in check, hehheh... When we get together again with that and you are on line, I will call ya in. It is fun, and adds a different type of challenge to the game.... Quote:

hahaha gooch, yeah i had him in a few games with tudorp to. Had to turn my mic down a couple of time lol. Seems like a good kid though, just loud
 We can get some games in later if you want? try the formation flying? anyone got anything to get pics with? Also...tudorp... i like flying the B17, but im also at home in the escort role. You need a "little friend" to get you to the target then send me an invite mate, i'll jump in.

I will do that.. It seems I have been having a hard time lately in the B-17. I get "gang banged" allot lately, and rarely even get a bomb off the rack. In stead of getting mad, I laugh though, because I take that as a compliment, that I am seen as a "threat" as much to get so much attention, hahhah.. I am finding the same in CTA lately too, that there are a couple that do nothing but keep me at bay, hahhah... I guess it is a good thing to be feared in something since I tend to be nothing more than a target drone in dog fights, hahhah..
I will definatly call on ya to have my back though if I catch you on line in a strike.. Quote:

i'll more than likely be on operation flashpoint, just need to complete the last level on hardcore. But regardless of what game im playing, just drop me an invite to party....
If i join... you have a wingman and a little friend watching out for you. If i dont join... im not being rude, im just still in game with mates. I do want to play IL2 at some point tonight though, its been fun, i love the game. If we play some strike to, en route to target i'll form up on your wing with my fighter make it look good lol.
