Also take note about the number of different engine sounds, or lack thereof.

Side note: Can anyone else take off as smoothly as they did in the video? It seems my takeoffs are always a tug of war between gravity and myself, as I try to get the plane up before the wheels disintegrate and the plane noses over. I've never had a takeoff in the 109 on CoD that just smoothly lifted from the tarmac like the video....
same to me!if the plane reaches 200km/h the nose will tilt over.but i dont use the flaps for takeoff.maybe thats the difference?
or they changed the physics as they claimed in the last update i think.

Go to you C:/User/Document/1C Soft Club/Cliffs of Dover - Folder, find the folder Cache and delete all files inside this folder and inside the subfolder, but do not delete the subfolder itself. But beaware, that all downloaded skins will be gone and you have to transmit all the skins again, in case you are regularly flying with fellas and got used to their skins.
thanks Snaf,do i have to do this if ive just installed the game again or not?
thanks

If this is refers to a dynamic campaign it'll be a while before I can stand up.

Guess #1 Dynamic weather system - obviously lacking in any combat sim

Guess #2 Improved dynamic lighting system - Landing lights, navigation lights, ambient city/town lights, light pollution, improved vehicle lights, etc.

Guess #3 Ground operations - you can start from outside the plane, the ground crew will take care of you plane, like rearming and refueling (all animated), you can get in static planes, etc
I'd say any of the above, plus Guess#4:
The ability to schedule flights to start under AI control and plan waypoints for them from within the server lobby, pick a couple of aircraft and password protect them, then spawn into a bomber midway towards the target.

Not so useful now, but very useful for future add-ons with bigger maps/distances to fly: set up those B-17s to take off while you're at work, spawn into your aircraft somewhere over the North Sea once you're back home and finished dinner, fly the interesting part of the mission, then hand the aircraft back to AI control if you want to skip the trip home, instead of having to fly anywhere between 3-6 hours for a complete sortie.

All of it tracked by an online dynamic campaign stats system, so that the extra incentive to nurse your crippled bomber home is there instead of leaving it to the AI to both the emergency landing.

Or Guess #5, the dynamic campaign itself.

Well, we can dream, can't we?
After all things do seem to be definitely looking up currently, beyond any reasonable doubt.

I notice that he has about 10 degrees of flap on. I use that amount also with fine pitch and a little nose up trim and it will take of smoothly. I keep nudging the trim wheel near takeoff speed and it will nose up very smoothly. Then comes the fun for cleaning up for flight.
Cheers
