another quick thing go to "mydocuments" and into 1c softclub open up "conf.ini


VisibilityDistance=1


to disable aero automatically everytime u launch the game. right clik the game executable. then compatibility tab and tik the "disable desktop composition chekbox then apply

I noticed no performance increase by turning off aero.

Have a look in HERE.

I can personally confirm that on my laptop, with those specsand using those settings, the difference between using a Win 7 Aero theme and a classic theme is around 4 FPS (tested on my Huns! mission).

PS: I don't know if "disable desktop composition" compatibility setting is the same as as completely switching off to the Win 7 Classic theme.

I think they may have ran into more problems yesterday whilst testing the beta patch, maybe this is the reason it was not ready for us last night. oh well, ready when it's ready!
