Hi, I live in California. When I gave Just Flight my current delivery address during the Cliffs of Dover purchase it was game over. "We are unable to provide this title to the country you have provided". How did you get around the country obstacle? Using "rest of world" is only the first half of the solution. July 19th release-Insanity. Dan

Hey Dan,

It said the same thing to me. However, you still have buttons that allow you to go through with the purchase. It will also tell you that you need to remove it from your cart to proceed with the purchase, but you can just... proceed with the purchase anyway.

It should then give you an activation code. Plug that onto Steam, and you're good to go Did that a week or so ago, and have been marvelling at the engine management in all its 15fps glory, hehehe!

I am in the USA and I just bought it from Just Flight(evening,5/27/11).

Although the page says $49.99 it is actually on sale for $29.99.Just put it in your cart and choose "rest of the world" to see the price in dollars.

Ignore the region errors.Just continue on with the sale.Make sure you check the box about agreeing to their terms.

Use the exact same name and address as on your credit card otherwise it might not go through.

I got the activation code at the end of the transaction(as well as an email).

And once you get the Activation Code, launch Steam. At the top of the Steam window, click on Games/Activate a product on Steam...
There you can enter the Activation Code (cut and paste works great) and begin the downloading process.

Retrojet:

Since Ubi has pushed the release date back several times maybe you can call your credit card company and see if you can get it charged back.

The sale will probably be over by then but I would rather pay anybody but Ubi.

Thanks Troll2k,
But messing with credit card charges is a real pain, and it serves me right for thinking they would play fair. I should have read the small print! Silent Hunter III was not worth the trouble, that's for sure..........
