Over all the Performance is better. But the FPS thing is such a Fake. They Disabled the Clouds... muhahahahaha... Without Clouds i had same effects. At my Machine no difference to before this Beta Patch in FPS. I think it was better before, because that was WITH CLOUDS!!!

Machine:
i7 980 XTreme, Asus Rampage II, 12 GB DDR3 RAM in Tripple Channel Mode, 2x590 GTX NVIDIA with 3 GB DDR 5 RAM, Win7 HE.

Sorry, how can i put it back to the Version before the Fake?

So let me get this straight.

You removed a load of fps eaters and then we report an increase in fps and all are happy?

You can delete CoD "Local Content" using Steam and then simply re-install. This patch is a fake A 6+ month fake. Also, the cockpits look a bit low-res to me than before, but I suppose I need to re-install old version to really confirm this.

I was just about to download the patch but after reading the changelog and comments I decided to wait another couple of month.

Disabling Clouds? Hardly surprising that some noted FPS increase.....

Bad. Ran the Black Death track before and after patch. I emptied the cache. The fps is worst, the game has a lot more of stutter, with settings maxed out. Here are the figures:

Before : avg/max/min 28/61/3
After : 24/44/1 (not fluid at all)

Settings maxed out:

But maybe the Death Track isn't good because it has clouds and grass ... ???

I did not download the patch and tried it but they said that they did not turn off clouds in general only far and medium distant clouds. So actually you should still have clouds but only close distance ones. Of course this will explain a good deal of the fps gain.
