I know it was...I was just ribbing you too...I'm away from my console right now...I'm vacationing in Oregon with my girlfriend...yes, I do have a girlfriend
 ...a beautiful one at that... Won't be at the controls till the the 6th at least...hope to get together then...Cheers

Hi everyone! I'm on the PS3, though I haven't played online yet (I don't really play online much), but that should change soon. I've sunk a lot of time into the game, I finished the campaign on realistic (never bothered with arcade), but I'm not really happy with my performance. I swear something funny is going on difficulty-wise in the campaign compared to training, the bandits seem so much more dangerous. I still feel like a real noob at this game. I've ordered a flight stick for better control, it feels like I just can't shoot straight with the pad
 or lnad, or BnZ properly I'm an avaition student too poor to afford any real training right now, so I love playing this game. I'm hoping for some help around here.

hey darkhill theres an active ps3 realistic and sim community (arcade too), a few questions though whats your psn name and whats your time zone. We'll soon help you get your head around the gunnery, which is the most difficult part of the game by far.

Attention all new Sim and Realistic Players.
IL-2 Birds of Prey for the PS3 has the best online community around. A majority of players play fair and will help all new players. For the most part... More experienced players will help you with settings and will lay off shooting you down until you get the hang of the game. All you need is a "Mike" and a play fair attitude. That means.... Bail out if your plane is damaged and going down! SAVE YOUR VIRTUAL PILOT FROM THE GRISLY HORRIFING DEATH OF PERMANENTLY BEING MELDED WITH VIRTUAL STEEL AND ALUMINUM! The fact is the game (more often than not) will count you being shot down as a crash instead of a kill! Most the old timers (In realistic and Sim) will bail for you with few exceptions! The game is not always about the "WIN", for most of us, it is about the fun of flying WW2 aircraft, good sarcastic conversation and the odd history lesson! Thanks Wildboar, unfortunate bout the time zone difference, prolly never meet in the skys. Thats one problem living on the west coast, nothing west of me but ocean, very very big empty ocean. Did get a couple of friend requests and actually got into a 16 player game last night
