>>Nett effect of all this is just damaging to the game (I believe it's the intention) this couldn't have been illustrated more clearly by the recent moronic and fake 'Black Six' post, there is no denying there are people out there hell bent on causing damage to this game and that is what I want to counter. <<

I agree with this. I also believe you are absolutely the person to do it.

I know it may sound a bit over-cooked but if there's one post that encapsulates a sense of decorum and civility, this is surely it. I would go one step further, if I may be allowed, and say that it is posts like this that allow me to sleep in my 'virtual bed' (metaphorically speaking) at night, knowing that the forum is being monitored and patrolled effectively, by those with the best interests of the game at heart.

This is to be applauded by both devs and forum members alike.

Not a bit of it. I think turning over a new leaf is the right thing to do, and perhaps putting some new roots down and reaching out an olive branch to certain members is the way forward. I would add some 'blue sky thinking' but that might go a bit too far and come across as a cliche.

Please ignore my earlier and more critical comments.

Wouldn't bet on it... But trying to be positive the fact that we got no update yesterday may gave been because they feel they are really close, but of course could not post that as that would have been noted as a promise Or maybe they are just fed up with the community and has left for the datchas already...
