12 hr days.... 7 days a week... I am as impatient as the next guy but that is ridiculous.

I think you need to step away from the keyboard and all have a break.... yes there are bugs but a tired bunch of workers helps no-one. I know when I become task fixated that the best thing to do is usually step back and have a break, I usually find the subconscious still works a solution anyway..

The bugs will still be there when you get back...

Thank you for the update.

It is great to see someone from the development team taking the time to communicate with those who have purchased the game rather than a faceless public relations droid as too often happens in the gaming world.

I look forward to seeing the updates.

No, I just wanted something that came close to what we have been promised all these years. And it is not - nowhere near
All a matter of oppinion, clearly you are no fan of Maddox games and are disposed to treating what they do with contempt, whereas some others are quite impressed with what is on offer, ans why not, is there any other sim on the market that even comes close to this level of detail?.........thought not

Are you from the developer team, or why you need to force everyone here YOUR mind?

Can you not live with the fact that there are other opinions?

LOL! force everyone to my oppinion, all I am doing is countering all the petty complaining that is going on, I have no power to force anyone to do anything, I can live with oppinions that are well reasoned like Kalimbas post above, it's not a pathetic attack on anyone like the die hard haters I have seen here.

For whatever reason/s Cliffs of Dover was released before it was ready and I understand the disappointment, but get a grip. You know that the developers are going to do whatever it takes to get it fixed and add features. Show a modicum of foresight.

My own opinion on the roadmap is performance optimizations and hardware support first (I can't use most of my gear and despite high end computer it is absolutely unplayable: 5-30fps no matter what circumstances). Correcting or producing new content, interface etc should be low priority.

I support you, devs. I bought the game despite knowledge of the many problems (as soon as the epilepsy policy was changed). I have faith in that you will patch the hull and work it into something very special.

I want you guys to take care of yourself foremost. Otherwise, you will burn out, with a sense of distress by even hearing the name "Cliffs of Dover" because of all the bad associations. Exercise: There is a sweet spot where one gets huge benefits with the least effort, around 30 minutes of aerobic activity. This can be a brisk walk or a jog, depending on your physical condition. Biking. Swimming. Do it every day or every two days. Trust me on this, it gives enormous benefits to concentration, sleep, lowers anxiety by a large amount, feel much more awake & happy. SLEEP 7-9 hours every day. Eat regularly: no more than 2-3 hours between ingesting something; this is blood glucose levels. Take many breaks away from work (even if small) and do something totally unrelated to the game for at least several hours each day. Don't bring work home. Take at least a full day off per week where the game isn't even allowed to be mentioned. And when working on it, try to think of the things you enjoy about your job. Make it fun, not unpleasant pressure & stress. In the end, everyone will do a better job and be much happier doing it.

Sacrificing health & sleep is not something that helps productivity in the long term, because even if one spends more time on work, one performs so much worse, while feeling like crap.

I also want to point out that 5 years of excellent customer support with IL2 games deserves our trust. The IL2 team have proven me wrong and wrong again over the years. Most vital issues with the original have been fixed so I really have no reason no to trust them at all. A minimum of how I can show that trust is buying the game now, when it is really important that we show we are here. I hope that our colleagues over the Atlantic share the same enthusiasm. The trust has not risen from nothing. We`ve seen how the orginal IL2 changed and we want to see CloD being the same.

Couldn`t have said it better myself. Look after your health guys, and don`t let the critic minority fool you. Most of us are waiting aptiently. Take your time. Haters will hate and will never be satisfied with your work. For the time being all we want to know is that you are working on the issues so we can have even more faith that this sim becomes 90% funcional in a few months.

Don`t get negative! Remember that long time IL2 gamers trust in your work!

Thank you for this info and all hard work.

One question about this ""double the FPS over London on a test machine""
What are this test machine specs? (would be good to compare i think)

+1
This is also important to me as the "double FPS" effect of this fix will obviously not apply to all hardware. Knowing the spec of the Test Machine would be a big help to estimate what performance increase this change may give me personally.
