- keep someone from bombing you: works
- use them as flak jackets: no worky, they are to small

Now, imagine your country was invaded and you joined the resistance.
Given the fact bombings in the big towns of the aggressor usually work pretty well - why not consider to blow away the newborn nursery of the bigger hospitals?
