The shaders folder needs to remain, just delete its content and the other files in the cache folder. But don't delete the cache folder.

Hm. Interesting. My fps stay at a rock steady 30fps no matter what. Even attacking bombers over London with everything maxed out - even land shading on original. I think the increase is there but something on my system or in the game has put a ceiling on it. It makes the game run very smoothly to be sure and I am not a high fps freak anyway. Definately no cloud shadow though.

So can anyone confirm if there is low fps on take-off roll / landing? I am going to test myself in a few minutes i really hope for the best.

Default improvement

Ran black death with everything maxed except Number of Buildings set to "high", not "Unlimited".
Went from 38FPS average to 50. But my minimum FPS dropped by 1 from 4 to 3.
Seems stable. I love the new reflected shockwave effect of the explosions!
Back to do more testing-

Over all the Performance is better. But the FPS thing is such a Fake. They Disabled the Clouds... muhahahahaha... Without Clouds i had same effects. At my Machine no difference to before this Beta Patch in FPS. I think it was better before, because that was WITH CLOUDS!!!

Machine:
i7 980 XTreme, Asus Rampage II, 12 GB DDR3 RAM in Tripple Channel Mode, 2x590 GTX NVIDIA with 3 GB DDR 5 RAM, Win7 HE.

Sorry, how can i put it back to the Version before the Fake?
