Glad I'm not the only one re Merlin sounds. Internal cockpit Merlin engine sounds OK, plus start up both inside and external. But external sound when flying and especially the flyby -- definitely NOT a Merlin engine in those CoD Spits and Hurries!!
Have to admit those Merlins do sound terrible externally

well hopefully they will have tuned them to make them much better, maybe even replaced a few could be possible.

One thing i really would love to see would be the change in sound when canopy is open or closed.

Would love to find out the animations have been added but I'm guessings it going to be the beta patch with less bugs.
