I think prepatch they showed up also on higher altitudes, but not sure about that.

Did you put the parts folder, in the right place and did you let it overight

No not in my game, also have Equipment gone invisible on pre saved scripted items, flak burst now have a white flash and no black smoke burst! One step forward and three back!
