i don't understand some of the complaints... what do you mean by the patch numb staying the same? as soon the patch came out it changes... so far i have not once had a problem with steam patches download for cod and it goes fast i mean i open my game and my new version is already installed...i have try the full screen and so far haven't experience black stripe but maybe it happens only with MP...

I am still getting lock ups requiring task manager exit when doing ground attacks.

Edit on the above: I normally fly either a Hurricane or a spit and when attcking vehicle columns the game will lock up normally on the second pass as soon as I start firing.

I just changed the FMB mission to a 109 strafing a couple of Brit fuel colums, got spectacular explosions (flew straight through them) and did numerous passes without a lock up. An enigma I would love an explanation for.

Also mirrors are still a physadelic mess.

Sound still dropping out occasionally.

Keeps asking me to change out of Aero.

Any news about fixing full screen? This is what i get (anyone else can try) if you take a picture etc or video with FRAPS of the start up sequence, the splash is in fullscreen but then it drops out and you will get this untill the main menu:
