A little bit smoother for me, but FPS increase only marginal. Over medium sized city up from 12-14 to perhaps 16-18. Maybe better after some flying over the same spot.
'Feels' smoother low over land, even with low fps.
Perhaps even a little bit better if > 600-800 m.

But also first time Launcher.Exe error for me

So i must say my expectation was higher, but it is definitely better than before, not worse ...

* fps in training mission (in the Camel(?)) was significantly better - from 30ish to 50ish.

* fps in spitI starting on ground - very little difference. Same in air. Maybe +3fps. Dunno if the cockpit itself is so fps-heavy that the gain because of terrain improvement will only be slight...

* turning off mirror worked one time. The next time it gave me a simplified mirror...(?)

* channel intercept: fps still bad. Unplayable! 15ish fps after awhile.

* Very few trees = trees off. ie still no trees when there should be very few...

So....first the improvement seemed good. But after testing a bit more I am a bit disappointed...

I have not noticed any particular improvement, but game plays pretty well except over London and when close to other planes. I have not noticed any glitches.

Thanks for your efforts

No useful difference here at all, maybe a little smoother but not much.

Frame rate is generally OK as it was before, its just so jerky, just the same as before.

AA only slows frame rate, no visable quality difference in game, just the same as before.

about the black screen after the crosshairs, quick fix for u guys to try, after you start the executable click anywhere on the desktop. will stop screen going black

And the most important note. If you notice REDUCED performance, crashes, or any kind of other crippling issues, it is extremely important you post your system specs including your version of Windows. That's the only way we can troubleshoot your problem and make sure it disappears by tomorrow!

As requested:

AMD Athlon x64 +6000 3.0Ghz Dual Core
Gygabyte GA-G55SLI-4
6GB Corsair XMS 2 DDR2 800Mhz ram
Nvidia GTS250 1GB GDDR3
Windows 7 32bit

As stated in a later post, major problems are the shadows (any) and the buildings for me buildings reduced to low detail do run good, but i havnt had time to post due to work Black screen is easy to get round so not a real problem to me

Same problem as doghous3:
*If running game in a res lower than desktop it will not fill the whole screen.

*Changing refresh rate to 60Hz, which should be correct, from 59Hz, gave me just a black screen.
By ctrl-alt-delete'ing the screen/menu became visible again.

*fps the 5sec i played seemed almost doubled (with same settings).
Abt 30fps in cockpit in training mission1 before, now it was 60ish...
But need to test more once I can run in fullscreen...

My results same as before patch(yes version checked)

Stuttering is here as before, when i play at some time it comes better but those houses is really performance hog to me, couple of houses and game is warping, not trees and nothing else, but houses.

So no difference for me

My rig

Ati 5970
6gig DDR3
Win 7 64bit
i7 920 3,6GHz

how this game can be so fast mission loading times, A-10 and RoF first loading takes much much longer. Seems to this game loads after mission is loaded??

Performance in general appears to be significantly better, but the stuttering remains, even over water. It doesn't seem to reduce over time either. Input lag also remains, though it appears slightly reduced.

I've been able to do the Dogfight: Advantage Allies mission and actually shoot planes down, which is nice.

I'm running 1920 x 1200 and have been able to go from Very Low settings pre-patch to a Custom setting half way between High and Very High. The framerate seems to hold up ok now, it's just the stuttering that's killing it.

Core i7 930 @ 3.6GHz, 6GB DDR3 @ 1600MHz, 2 x Radeon 6950 2GB in Crossfire
