Could we have a basic traing as a Bomber or fighter pilot. To learn the basics and some advanced tips, tricks, musts, things to look out for, how to's, you know to get us of on the right track. When I started IL-2 I was terribly lost and if not for the pacific-fighters support I would've been terribly lost. So please make a basic traing set of missions, maybe tell us the weak spots of our common opponents.

Default Straffing - blowing up ships

I hope that BOB:SOW will enable some ships to blow up or sink by straffing. Particularly munitions ships or tankers. If not large ships, then perhaps motor torpedo boats, coastal guardships etc.

I believe the answer to the above three questions is: Yes.

I can never think of sensible and original questions to ask; but I thought I’d chip in with this;

I wondered if SoW or future iterations of SoW will be able to take advantage of Head Mounted Display technology like Emagine’s Z800 reviewed here at SimHq:

http://www.simhq.com/_technology2/technology_080a.html

Or at least it’s successors.

Considering SoW will presumably be projected to have a lifetime similar to Il2’s, of several years, it’s something I’d love to see and try in a couple of years time, when the HMD tech is more matured.

Default A small question to Oleg...

Hello Oleg!

Did you by any chance read the small document I try to send to you in August (to your personal MG address, via Luthier/RRG and on paper at MAKS 1C/booth)?...just curiosity...I believe that some of my statements in this paper were not completely devoid of interest, especially as far as Luftwaffe airfields in France during BoB were concerned...

Thanks for your time and dedication,

JVM

Hi Oleg.

You have stated that the map in Bob will be of great detail, my question then is this...........will some long road's found in the country side, have gentle long curves as in real life?.....or will the roads be similar to those found in IL-2....more of a straight run with quick turns

I think it is on the 1946 Bonus DVD that I've seen some pictures of the railroads and they look excellent. The roads will be the same, I'm sure.
