Default Turn off FFB?

I have a MSFFB that I use for some controls but not for steering. Now with FFB it shakes like mad and makes me mad. How can I turn off FFB? I already put FF=0 in the config (that one not in the steam folder but the normal document folder). To no avail.

you have to disable it from within the config file located in your steam folder.

i had the same problem stick just slops about all over the place unless you're pulling 14G's or going 900mph, fired the cannon and my desk nearly shook apart.
yet another completely useless patch.

I use this:

The edited forcefeedback files in the above thread are far better imo.

tried it and didn't work. I guess I have to unplug my MSFFB which is a bit of an annoyance.

Strange

My MSFFB2 works perfect with the latest update.

You can remove certain aspect of the FFB from the FFB folder

If you want to edit your FFB use the search feature for fedit

Actually the MSFFB does work. I however want it to not work with ffb (I use the X52 and only the throttle lever on the MSFFB). Now with ffb on it is highly disturbing. But how can I definitely turn off ffb?

Well it sounds like you have a problem with the stick because FFB automatically turns itself off if your hand isn't on it. Check to see if the sensor might have got blocked up with crud, otherwise something must be wrong with it.

Just unplug the power lead. The joystick will continue to work and the the FFB won't if it's a MSFFB2...

Edit: I see you have already done that but why is this an annoyance? Also like already said if your hand is off the stick on a MSFFB2 the FFB should stop working?
