Been getting back into Il-2 and reading up In Pursuit in anticipation for Cliffs of Dover, and I've found myself intrigued by the section on formation fighting. I'd like to try it out.
Any squads out there that would be interested in a new neophyte in the online dogfighting realm? I've mostly flown offline in the quick dogfights, mostly in the P-47D and lately in the Tempest, but I'm fairly plane agnostic in this context. I would prefer the Allied side, though. I'm also comfortable with the higher realism settings; about the only thing I typically leave on are the minimap icons. |

Your location will pretty much dictate what is a viable option.
If you are Eurobased though http://www.europeanaf.org is a good option

Once you start flying with freinds online you will never go back to offline, adds so much more, having said that i regret to say that your choice of "side" is seriously flawed as we Luftwaffe pilots will be fighting this batttle with the added weapon of "Hindsight". Our 110's will prevent you even leaving the ground.
