Well if you do, and you don't already have this app, you should probably give it a try. X-Plane, one of the most realistic flight sims around (it's used to train real pilots) is now on the apple app store. There are a multitude of apps letting you fly anything from airliners to fighter jets. Each app costs $10, and if you don't want to pay that much and you haven't jailbroken your device, there's a free trainer app that let's you play in a Cessna. It's not as diverse as the others, but it's still very good for something that's free.
If your a flight sim fan with access to an iphone or an itouch you'll definitely be interested in these apps. Just thought I would let everybody know since there are a lot of big aviation fans here, if you get a chance to test one of the apps let me know what you thought! ![]() Also, one final note- I would recommend downloading the free version first before you make any purchases, just to make sure you like the control scheme etc. |

Have you seen the X-plane remote app? You can use your iphone/touch as a controller for the desktop version. It even uses the iphone as a sort of second display. Cool stuff. Unfortunately my computer runs x-plane terribly so ive never checked it out.
