For the Gamers Gate version...do they get the patch from Atari? or did you send it to Gamers Gate also?

.\.BMRender\rmode.cpp(1583): DirectX call failed: -1, -1,D3DERR_INVALIDCALL (The method call is invalid. For example, a method's parameter may not be a valid pointer)

When is this going to be fixed? This game is completely useless for me and others who have this error.

Why is there no programmer here who worked on this providing an explanation for a bug like this? and possible fix.

There are no downloads or patches for King's Bounty at this time.
Still nothing one week after your post ... they don't seem in a hurry to release the patch.

My game mostly works but it often freezes up in battles for 5-10 seconds, then starts responding again. Once it crashed the whole system. Is this a common problem? I haven't heard anyone else mention something similar.

Are there any known workarounds other than not turning it in?

Although he is certainly rude, a fix would be nice. Also, I did give my system specs and have already tried all solutions listed in the thread (as I mentioned earlier in thread). Apparently this was a problem for the russian release as well- I can't tell if it was fixed or not though, can't speak russian.

Another bug in the atari disk version - when you kill the turtle and give him blood the text is not line wrapped so it scrolls off the side of the screen and you cannot read it.

I hope it isn't important because obviously I can't read it - perhaps you could post what the turtle said ?

[I can read: If karrakh ever appraoches, you'll (rest is off the screen)

Default Can't Allocate Additional 6291480 bytes?

Just got an error "Can't Allocate Additional 6291480 bytes?" after playing for several hours straight.

This is the second time I have gotten this error which crashed me out of the game, so I figured I would post it. It happened while I was saving the game after beating Duke Sov, so I am not sure if the error is talking about memory or hard drive space. Either way, I had have plenty of both when it happened.

I have 283GB free on my hard drive and 4GB of memory. At the time of the crash KB.exe was using a whopping 1.157GB and everything else was taking up 1.48GB so I should have had about 1.3GB left.

If I restart the game and load up my pre-battle save game KB.exe only uses about 670MB of RAM. Seems like there might be a memory leak somewhere.

I have attached both the 32 and 64 Bit DxDiags in case you need them. Also, you may want to up the forums "Max Filesize" for .txt files from 19.5KB to about 40KB so that people can attach them without zipping them up or spamming the thread with it.

Enjoy!
