Loving the game so far, my only gripes would be:
1) The in-game sound is a bit anemic and could use a more punch. Sound balancing is an issue (why does the hexer blowgun make more noise than a cavalry charge?) And I have the sound effects turned all the way up and my speakers cranked so I can hear, so whenever a cutscene triggers I'm nearly blown out of my seat by the volume. 2) On snowy maps it can be very difficult to see which units have attacked. The little sword attack marker gets lost in the snowy background. Other than these minor quibbles I am thoroughly enjoying myself. The game forces you to make some interesting decisions, which is the most important aspect. Thanks for making it HARD! |

Love the game, this is the game Mark Of Chaos should have been. Only small gripe i have is that it lacks grit and character. 9/10 A classic.

The A.I. in the game is not bad.
I love the way it targets your routed/damaged units for destruction, and whoa be the player that has a routed hero hanging out in the open. I also like the way that you have to keep your mounted knights back a bit so they don't go impetuously crashing to their doom into the woods after an orc unit. I give it 9 out of 10 |

Excellent game. I used to play Fantasy General to death and now this game gives me what I have been aching for.
I was surprised to see the AI making smart moves and how little loading there is. Furthermore, the game is a nice challenge, something to sink my teeth in. It's technically sound as well. What I am missing at the moment is simply more maps. And a techtree for the Elves on the site What's holding the game back is that it looks like another Warcraft/Warhammer clone and gamesites do not go deep with it. Personally, I like Orcs and Elves battling it out, but that's me. Also, I think in the age of Halo's and generic racegames, old school turnbased doesnt get the attention it deserves. I believe that if you call yourself oldschool, this game is a must-have. |

I personally miss a campaign map as the Total War series,
with the old school gameplay and a quest sistem will be really a revolution in the strategy games |

I have just completed the Alliance campaign. I must say that I have really enjoyed the game. It was a real brainteaser in some scenarios, yet it was not too difficult (I was playing on Normal). Great job at balancing this! Although some scenarios were far easier (I have found the Human campaing the easiest and the Orcish campaing the most difficult one). I know it is not easy to make a balanced game that will not be easy to finish in one night and at the same time not too difficult, so that many players would not be able to finish the game.
So... when's the English add-on coming out? Oh! And an extra "cheers!" for the guy that gave Teya the "Dragonslave" spell as a perk on level 10 Oh, and one more thing. When a new unit joins the army during a scenario, please allow it to move (maybe fix this in the add-on?). In the mission with the Engineer I had to reload a previous save several times, because the Engineer kept appearing next to enemy units, with no move points, and was repeatedly being decimated by the goblin raiders.
